Description
Noelle Jade is a wacky cute catgirl, typically unable to see the risks in front of her, as can be seen in A Sticky Start. Noelle Jade is an OC stand-in for me, DualFighter1. Despite her horrific luck, she enjoys sitting around on her CyberDeck. She can commonly be found typing away at the keyboard while filling herself to the brim with Dr Pepper. This girl tends to listen to Mili and Imagine Dragons, and in both her music taste and fashion sense it's clear that she cares not what others think of her. Preferring to forge her way through. Get her on a topic that she enjoys and you will not be able to get her to shut up. You will know the intricate story of the Project Moon game series, she will make sure of that, whether you like it or not. Her taste for Mili music is often mocked by her close friend Simulacrae. This pretty kitty has an extremely smug aura of brattiness around her at all times. Even going to the length of wearing a collar and a leash as a provocative attempt at batting (the act of trying to incite a brat tamer.). Her leash usually hidden in her shirt, hoping that people draw attention to it so that she can ask them why they were looking at her chest in the brattiest tone of voice one could ever hear
Entering her bedroom would be akin to entering a minefield, with delicate computing components everywhere, a 3D printer that is almost always running off something. Collections of Anime Figures and Lego sets line the walls. She enjoys tinkering and making. Several screens show statuses for her several coding projects. Wall scrolls focusing on characters from Touhou and Genshin Impact line the walls, and then at the very end of the room, a trinket shelf, with special keepsakes from some of her best, or worst adventures. A hard drive from a strange glue factory, a tub of sand from a curious beach.
Noelle also has a machine she designed allowing herself to be rebuilt. Should Noelle remain in a "Dead" state for more than 48 hours, the machine would kick in and create a perfect carbon copy of her, backed up from the last time she was in her house. She also has a self-developed Neural Interface that allows her to send data back to her home server, Typically used just to avoid losing memories during a death, it also gets used to log down vital information whenever she feels it might be needed. It can also create "Moments", which are self-contained perfect VR experiences so she can relive a memory she chooses to save. Rumours around her state that this was all just to protect herself from the Market Overseers
While Noelle can be incredibly intelligent, the vast majority of work on these high-tech projects was supported by Simulacrae. One of her truest friends throughout childhood and the entire reason that Noelle had picked up computing as an interest. While not as deep into transhumanism as Simulacrae, Noelle still has several transhumanist modifications that she is constantly working on. An example is the neural chips that she uses.
Noelle has a full-height fridge just for Dr Pepper, packed with all kinds of flavours—from the classic to Dr Pepper Cherry, and even some limited-edition ones she's found over time. Simulacrae always has her favourite spot in the fridge, whether it's the regular Dr Pepper or some new flavour Noelle is trying out. It's a small, comforting ritual between the two of them in the middle of their busy lives. Whenever they get a moment to breathe, you can bet they’ll grab a can, relax, and let the world slow down for a bit. Noelle has suggested the two try and reverse engineer the recipe so that they could make their own interesting flavours, but neither of them has begun work on that project yet.
Basic History
Coming from a history in tech, this pretty kitty has enough knowledge to steal data, and as such at the age of 12, she was kidnapped by the Market Overseers to be questioned. A "Mark of Interest" was placed upon her due to this interaction, and she will now live knowing that her every action is being watched by the Overseers. This was the day she learned to be careful who she hacked. As she was shuffled out of the building there was a mysterious cloaked figure watching her intently, Noelle had seen this person and wondered what they wanted. As she was returned home, the Market Overseers representative demanded the drive from the catgirls CyberDeck, to which Noelle had no choice but to comply. Noelle thought she was on a forever streak of luck from that day forward, as everything seemed to go her way. This was until a fateful day at 19 when she visited a Strange Factory. Since then her luck has been impossibly bad. From dropping her last pennies down the drain to getting kidnapped nearly every other day.
After research, Noelle discovered that the source of her bad luck comes from her disconnection from the Ramus Fati, with no way to reconnect Noelle is now forever cursed to supernatural bad luck. This luck will last her the rest of her life, one upside to this bad luck is that without a connection to the Ramus Fati, one can also not age, as the Ramus Fati provides the fields of chance for someone to age. This upside however can be seen as a double-edged sword, causing her to have a technically infinite lifespan, Immortal for as long as she can keep her Revival Machine running. Due to a chance meeting with an informant from the Market Overseers, Noelle has an acute knowledge of the Ramus Fati but would be powerless to influence it. Despite knowing the reason, Noelle will continue to push her luck, "Surely my luck will have improved this time!" she would claim that the influence of the Ramus Fati was purely conjecture designed to explain it, she had no scientific or technological proof, and no way to prove the existence of the fate changing branch, and as such she would refuse to believe it...
Noelle has in the past, had 73 deaths related to the misuse of her Neural Connections. Using it to gather information from the internet has an almost decaying effect on her brain, as the human brain was not designed to manage information at those levels. This has been a constant requirement in new versions of the chips that she plans, but her procrastination never leads her to make any new versions of the chips.

The character Sheet for Noelle Jade can be seen to the right.
Noelle sports shorts with a white t-shirt with exposed shoulders and short black sleeves, the left sleeve sporting a white cat shape. A patch on her shoulder to help alleviate the rubbing of her "Tech Belt." Her tech belt seemed to be styled after an over-the-shoulder ammo belt, but instead of ammo, she would often carry tubes of thermal paste, a soldering iron and a small pocket with a tube of solder in it. This belt would connect to the one at her waist, that held up her CyberDeck on the right and a bag filled with tech repair tools on the left. Moving down she wore a pair of short black shorts, with gold and white diagonal stripes in the top left. Her legs were exposed to the elements as going down further would lead to a pair of mismatched socks and plain brown boots. Her hair was long and black, with pink highlights towards the ends, her hair leading up into a pair of black fluffy cat ears with white internal fluff. In her hair, typically on the left, was a cat-shaped hairpiece with a >w< face imprinted onto it. This hairpin would switch sides often as she usually doesn't put much effort into ensuring that it is on the "correct" side. She also had black bobbles on her wrists as she liked the feeling that they gave.
