Description
Basic History
After her release from a psych ward, Katherine had decided not to give up on her research, trying desperately to work out what the crystals she kept finding were. She dubbed them Aetherianite and kept trying to find a use for them, eventually discovering that she could use them to turn people into stone statues. Seeing this, she rushed to test it before running into a thief, a poor girl named Kaen Amai. The girl pleaded after being found in Katherine's rented warehouse, eventually convincing Katherine not to solidify her.
Tools of the Trade
The Collectors, specifically Katherine and Kaen, use a range of powerful crystals to facilitate their transformative abilities. These crystals, named Aetherianite by Katherine, have a wide range of abilities, basically coming down to the imagination, but due to Katherine's demands, are only used for the petrifaction that they can provide. Crafted into special bullets and infused with the planned petrifying material, these crystals can be shot from regular guns and, upon piercing the skin of the target, will immediately spread the infused material across the body, transmuting any biomass that may be exposed to air into a thick layer of the chosen material and creating an inescapable prison, perfectly shaped to be the victim.
