Story
"Rae, I'm POSTing the new server, just letting you know there will be a sudden power dip!" Noelle would call through the lab, walking around one of the tables. This lab had become her second home, where she worked on the computing systems that Rae would use. She had just finished putting together a beast of a server for rendering. She called it the RenderSerpent. She would have called it RenderDragon, but that was taken by a big corporation, one that she despised with all of her heart. "Great, thanks for the heads up!" Rae shouted from the other room, letting Noelle know her warning had been acknowledged.
As she pressed the power button, the server would give the usual POST code. A singular beep to signify a safe and good POST result. There was another sound though, one that was almost muddy? It sounded like a pile of mud being dragged along a surface, a wet squelching sound. "The fuck? Rae, there are strange watery wet sounds. What is it?" Noelle asked, to which Rae responded with "Noe, I told you to stop leaving porn playing in the background!" Noelle would go on to pout a little, not that anyone would see what with the lab being private and Rae in the other room working on a new machine.
She would ignore the sounds and continue walking around the server rack she was working on, eventually coming to a stop and leaning her ass against a table. "God. Why is Linux such a bitch"
