== What is Cognitio Vitreus(CV)? ==
A glasslike crystal that forms in areas that are unobserved over a long span of time. The crystal itself can impose alternate reality onto the current reality in many forms.

== What forms does Cognitio Vitreus come in? ==
CV comes in two forms, Unrefined Cognitio Vitreus(U-CV) and Refined Cognitio Vitreus(R-CV) though the refined form is often just called CV

== What is Unrefined Cognitio Vitreus and where does it come from? ==
U-CV is just as it sounds. It is CV in its most raw form. It is said to come from an existence outside the the reaches or capabilities of observation.

U-CV itself only has crystal and a projected intelligence and form. In it's base state, the form is vague and the intelligence is near the level of an amoeba. It, however is shaped by the unconscious of those within its proximity. From there any manor of alternate reality rules or manifestations are capable. There is work on classifying the U-CV's common appearances and behaviors but such research and categorization at the moment of writing this is slim.

U-CV's projections can range from anything from the mundane to living nightmare gods.

There is one singular advantage of U-CV over R-CV. And that is that if controlled, U-CV has no limitations on use. One could make a U-CV freeze water, and then also melt the water. As long as the U-CV's projection is able to be convinced.

== How is U-CV refined? ==
By eliminating the projected consciousness attached to the U-CV it can be converted into R-CV or commonly referred to as simply CV.

== How is R-CV used? ==
R-CV if given to a normal person has no effect unless ingested or consciously focused upon. In both cases, the subject will experience a alternate reality of their own making in their mind. Though initially structured by one's unconscious, the conscious mind can shape and reshape this space. With practice, a subject can overlay their alternate reality and the current reality. Through conscious decision, the R-CV can manifest said effect in the current reality and the R-CV is then considered to be used for as long as the effect is maintained. Lesser R-CV deposits can become unstable or brake after multiple uses or if used for too large a change with too little physical R-CV available.

== How does Cognitio Vitreus deal with contradictions? ==
the effect of CV in conflict is determined by the consciousness that has the strongest degree of self assurance. This could be one user over another, a user over a projection, a projection over a user, or even reality itself potentially being the strongest assurance. Local and Universal Unconscious also alter the allocation of which effect is primary.

== Are there limitations in Cognitio Vitreus creating effect? ==
CV can not create something that can not be envisioned. In addition, creating is far easier than altering and altering is far easier than erasing. But with enough people convinced, including the user, and a large enough amount of CV there is little that can not be done.

== Basic History ==
As [[Simulacrae]]'s sister, Lati grew up with a mind to try and put technology to the test. Her goal initially to help her sister only found her at odds with the very person she was trying to help. Lati's view was to utilize any tool and any method to complete her goals.
The background in cybernetics and medical grade prosthetics was what lead her to establish [[Ageless Anatomicals]]. She was all but assured that she was improving the world through her efforts.
That was until someone very close to her got in an accident. Lati refused to let this be the end. She wouldn't leave the person closest to her in a coma or worse, not when she could do something.
This was when she created the first Doll. Her perfect creation. And such a creation broke something in Lati.
Lati's goals shifted from there, making Dolls of more people, selling them to fund her creation of more. She augmented herself as well, heavily. Her pursuit of the perfect form a blend of biological and mechanical.
But such a goal would be stopped by her own sister's hand. Or... it should have been.
A man that she would have never expected, [[Jack]] took the remnants of her organic matter and used her to construct the first Corpse Doll. A blend of non-living organic material and mechanical cybernetics.
Born again... Lati gets back to work.

== Description ==
Jack is a manipulator through and through. But despite his skill, he likes most to come across as no one other than himself. In his mind the game of getting someone to agree with him is what makes everything worthwhile. If he were to lie directly, he would feel like he lost somehow but there are times when he'll swallow his pride to get a job done.
His choice of attire is dress clothes, though he tends to wear them in a way that is more fit for his comfort. Rolled up sleeves, unbuttoned collar, loose tie which he often tucks into the button-up's pocket, untucked shirt, and Etc.
He smokes often with a view that "I'm going to die someday anyway" though he seems to really do it because he thinks it looks cool and he likes the taste of the smoke.

Born as [[Valnar]]'s twin, Jack saw his brother as far superior in terms of academic and business performance. So Jack simply leaned into his own personable nature. He made friends, connections. He worked the system to the best of his ability all the while trying to keep an air of natural uncaring.
Jack's relaxed way of talking and his general sense of derealization lead him to act a bit strange. His way of dealing with people is always seeking to set others off of their sense of normalcy.
But he is mentally sharp. His short time at [[Ageless Anatomicals]] lead him to master the tools of the trade. Even to the point of taking a step beyond what its CEO [[Lati]] would have done and created the first Corpse Doll from [[Lati]] herself.

Born as [[Jack]]'s twin, Valnar did his best to preform. His brother might have been more popular with people his age but to Val, if he could become better through effort and repetition then he knew he would find success in the long term.
An interest in Victorian nobility early in his childhood and his general sense of derealization lead to him acting in a way that is somewhat strange. He speaks in a way that is almost painfully formal a reflection of the sense of perfection that he seems to strive for.
